This is the second time I have used WilderWild Bike Frame Protection Tape. While there is a little bit of work involved to cut the shapes you need, the results are well worth it. The first bike I did was 2 years ago and it held up very well. I used a clear protection on the black paint and the pattern on the grey paint. Came out looking pretty good, IMO.
Update 1/24: installed on my 3rd bike. Hopefully I won't crash test it, but I probably will. Thick & durable. Soapy H2O & Heat gun is the secret. This is the 2nd time I've use this on my bike. Take your time & use a heat gun. Every edge needs to be round. I didn't do a perfect or professional job. I have crashed my previous bike with this wrap & it holds up. Within reason. That is why I purchased again and took more time on the install.

I purchased this product because I had a chip on the carbon fiber frame of my bike and wanted to protect further damage. This is a great product and worked well. However your definitely going to want to use a heatgun not a blow dryer for its installation. I used my heat gun on setting 1 and turned pretty low on the temperature setting. I would definitely buy this product again. Just make sure to watch the installation video and the installation of product will go fine
